Open School East is a 7th-12th grade college-prep school in East Multnomah County that helps kids excel academically, graduate, and go to college. We give our kids rigorous academics, teachers who believe in them, and a whole lot of relentless love and support. And it works. Our students advance an average of 2.5 grade levels in math and reading in their first year with us.

Relational & Relevant

At Open School we prepare students to reach the academic goals and life dreams they and their families have set for themselves. It is our job to make school relevant for every student. We are committed to developing meaningful relationships with students and families that keep them engaged, learning, and connected.

Rigorous Academics

Every teacher at Open School East believes in your child and sees all students as capable learners. With this belief in mind students and families can expect:

  • Intensive Remediation: Make sure all students have the basics.
  • Acceleration: We are not satisfied with catching up, we want you ahead of the pack.
  • Honors Level High School Curriculum: We want to keep you ahead and prepare you to succeed in college and career.
  • Multi-cultural Approach: It is our job to make sure your culture is represented in our curriculum and classrooms. We want you to feel represented.
